create your 3D BIM-model in ArchiCAD or Revit
Kährs offers BIM objects for our global assortment of hardwood floors to give architects and designers the ability to incorporate our products during project planning, to visualize ideas and optimize the end result of the project.
What is BIM?
BIM stands for Building Information Modeling and it's a 3D modelling process which describes the process of creating and managing digital information about a built asset. BIM objects are digital descriptions of products or materials that, when combined with other BIM objects, create a BIM model.
With BIM, digital 3D models are created that include data associated with physical and functional characteristics, and describe the design elements and relationship between different components. This way of working improves efficiencies in time, cost and materials because it allows architects, engineers and contractors to collaborate on coordinated models, gaining insight into how their work fit into the overall project.
We have listed our hardwood floors on BIMobject® Cloud, which is the world's largest platform for manufacturer-specific BIM content. Its clever features let you browse thousands of high-quality objects quickly and find exactly what your project needs. By signing up as a user, you will have access to the complete library of BIM objects listed there. Download is free of charge and includes format options to match your preferred software.
Available for Revit and ArchitCAD
We offer BIM objects for most of our hardwood floors to help architects, designers, engineers and the specifying community to plan and visualize their projects in an easy and effective way. Our BIM objects contain article specific data such as:
- Wood species
- Surface and refining treatment
